관찰의 중요성을 강조. “성경을 읽으면서 사계절이 느껴지십니까? 냄새를 맡을 수 있습니까? ….”
3. 차정식 ‘거꾸로 읽는 신약성서’
해석의 중요성을 보여줌. 한국 교회에 만연한 해석에 대한 딴지.

하지만 올해의 주제의 기초가 된 성경의 말씀, 요한복음 20장을 자세히들여다보면, 보냄을 받는 제자들은 불타는 열정의 제자들이 아닌, 예수님의 죽음후에 겨우 목숨을 건지고 두려움에 떨며 모여있는 심약한 제자들이었음을 알게된다. 예수께서 죽음의 권세를 이기시고 부활하신 것을 아직도 믿을수 없었던 (요 20:9) 제자들이 공포와 절망가운데에서 숨을 죽이고 모여있을때에 예수께서 그들에게 나타나셨다. 그리고 제자들에게 평화가 있기를 말씀하시고, 십자가에 달리실 때의 고난의 흔적인 두 손에 난 못자국과 허리를 찔렸던 창자국을 보여주셨을 때에야 제자들은 비로소 기뻐할 수 있었다.

    그 날, 곧 주간의 첫 날 저녁에, 제자들은 유대 사람들이 무서워서, 문을 모두 닫아걸고 있었다. 그 때에 예수께서 와서, 그들 가운데로 들어서셔서, “너희에게 평화가 있기를!” 하고 인사말을 하셨다.

20. 이 말씀을 하시고 나서, 두 손과 옆구리를 그들에게 보여 주셨다. 제자들은 주님을 보고 기뻐하였다.
21. [예수께서] 다시 그들에게 말씀하셨다. “너희에게 평화가 있기를 빈다. 아버지께서 나를 보내신 것 같이, 나도 너희를 보낸다.”
22. 이렇게 말씀하신 다음에, 그들에게 숨을 불어넣으시고 말씀하셨다. “성령을 받아라.
23. 너희가 누구의 죄든지 용서해 주면, 그 죄가 용서될 것이요, 용서해 주지 않으면, 그대로 남아 있을 것이다.”

그러면 어떻게 할 것인가? 그리스도인들이 보내심을 받은 본래의 모습을 회복하기위해서는, 고난과 부활의 예수님을 공동체안에 다시 모셔들여야한다. 인간이 주인이되어버린 교회들과 공동체들의 중심에 예수님을 다시 모셔들이고 십자가와 부활이 의미하는 화평과 용서의 모습이 먼저 공동체안에서 나타나도록, 각자가 자아를 죽이고 성령의 인도하심에 겸손하게 반응하여야한다. 거기에는 어떠한 지배와 피지배, 세속주의적 권위등이 절대로 힘을 발휘할 수 없도록, 서로에대한 철저한 자기부인이 있어야할것이다. 그러한 변화된 모습이 있을 때 비로소 한국교회와 우리 그리스도인들에게 세상을 향해 보냄받고 나갈 수 있는 자격이 주어질 것이다. 그 전까지는, 당분간은 세상에 오히려 짐이되거나 해를 끼치는 존재들이 되지 않도록 조심하고 기도하는 것이 최소한의 최선일것이다. 평화와 용서의 메신저가 되기는 커녕…[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
